THE BRIEF
Exterior storage and seating
Langley Design worked with Rigg Construction on the new £2.7 million Westmead Activity Centre in Chippenham which provides a new climbing centre, a skate park and indoor and outdoor café areas.
Our extensive experience with manufacturing street furniture products and our flexible approach to each project enabled us to offer a bespoke Sheldon cycle shelter with an apex roof and timber clad ends to provide that extra protection against adverse weather conditions.
WHAT WE DID
Providing shelter
In keeping with the outdoor café, we also installed a timber canopy which spans across the terraced space and provides a sheltered area for the visitors without compromising on the light.
THE RESULT
Durable seating
To complete the external works, we provided pre-cast concrete benching which is known to be perfect for its durability and to complement the newly landscaped environment.
