Sat on the edge of Milton Keynes, Woburn Downs offers a collection of new build apartments and homes located within the picturesque Buckinghamshire countryside. Providing a terrific balance between urban life-style and rural living; with access to both a wide range of local amenities including schools, retail & health facilities, and stunning parks, nature reserves & lakes, the new development serves as an ideal location for its residents to work, shop and relax.
Langley Design worked alongside Barratt David Wilson Homes to utilise our Sheldon Cycle Shelters and Bin Stores across the site. Offering a flexible design these units could easily be adapted to work across a variety of locations on the development.
WHAT WE DID
Budget friendly and long lasting
Our SCS316 Cycle Shelter, constructed and clad in structurally graded redwood timbers, offers a budget friendly and long lasted solution for the residents.
Complete with secure digilock gated access, and with full structural calculations for wind and snow loadings, the enclosure will keep the owners cycles safe and out of the Great British weather when they are not in use. We used our Malford MCR206 Semi Vertical Cycle Racks internally as a secure and space efficient storage solution.
Finally our SBS304 Bin Stores supplied the development with a bin enclosure that not only disguises the unsightly wheelie bins but also provided visual continuity with our Cycle Shelters.
