Street furniture package
Specified by PLACE DP for this high-calibre school re-build, an important element of the street furniture package, along with the benches and planters provided, was the parent and pupil waiting area situated at the front of the school.
WHAT WE DID
Combined seating
The requirement was for a large combined seating and cycle parking canopy, which was achieved by installing two large clear span units side by side.
THE RESULT
Pleasing visual impact
The non-fragile polycarbonate roofing system is designed to let the light through, whilst stopping harmful UV rays. The bright and airy design of these shelters gives a pleasing visual impact to this area and reflects well on the quality of the whole school.
