Willoughby School, Bourne
Langley Design worked with Willmott Dixon on the £6 million extension at Willoughby School to improve educational provision within Lincolnshire. Willoughby is an all age (2-19) special school for pupils with moderate to severe, profound and complex learning disabilities. This project delivered extra classroom spaces, hygiene suites, a dining hall, nurse and physio rooms. To the exterior of the school, the car park has been extended and the play areas have been remodelled.
Langley Design were tasked with providing a covered area where the students can learn, play and socialise whilst being protected from the elements. Our Pewsham Tensile Canopy (PTC400) with galvanised and powder coated steel legs was the perfect solution, whilst offering a modern and sleek look to rear of the school. The varying column heights to the canopy create attractive visual lines from the fabric which is available in a range of standard colours to further customise the product to complement any landscape.
