The Marsh Academy, Kent
Langley Design were contacted directly by The Marsh Academy in New Romney to provide a variety of street furniture items. The picnic tables and benches were fabricated with recycled plastic slats and mounted on granite plinths to increase seating, dining, and socialising areas for students across the school. Alongside this, we also manufactured litter bins with the same recycled plastic slats and a galvanised steel frame to create a cohesive appearance throughout the academy.
The use of recycled plastic in the school environment is increasingly popular due to its various advantages as a material. It is robust, extremely durable and will not rot or degrade with age. Perfect for the energetic school atmosphere and resilient for beside the coast. Recycled plastic is also an eco-friendly option, taking plastics away from landfill to be repurposed into stylish, modern and substantial street furniture products. There are nearly no maintenance requirements, and the products will still look like new in years to come.
