The Garden House, Rotherham
The Garden House in Rotherham is a charity that provides public access to its gardens as well as education and training by supporting those looking to enjoy a career in horticulture. Langley Design were approached by Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council to provide some external seating for the garden area for visitors to enjoy. The criteria was to provide a product in recycled plastic that could maximise the seating area, be suitable for wheelchair access and come within their budget. We put forward our popular PPT405 picnic table in recycled plastic. These tables sit 6 people but are also completely adaptable to allow for wheelchair access where required. The use of recycled plastic is becoming more and more popular due to its many benefits. The material is tough, durable and strong and doesn’t degrade with age, making it a practically maintenance-free material. As this also comes from sustainable recycled materials this diverts waste away from landfill and the end product can be recycled endless times with an infinite amount of uses.
