The Bury’s – Waverley Borough Council, Surrey
Langley Design worked directly with Waverley Borough Council to provide a collection of Cycle Shelters across three of their car park sites within the district. As the sites had slightly different specific requirements, we were able to offer the Council solutions from our large range of Cycle Shelters to suit each location. Godalming and Cranleigh utilised our popular Malford MCS201 and MCS204 products. These steel cycle shelters were both galvanised and powder coated in a vibrant blue colour to provide a durable and long-lasting finish in these public locations. The Haslemere site opted for a timber product and we provide our budget friendly Sheldon SCS301. Manufactured in a Treated Class 4 Redwood and stained a striking black colour, the unit also was featured low level cladding to enclose two sides of shelter. All sites were provided with stainless steel Malford MCR200 cycle hoops, which featured an additional low level fixing rail to allow users an additional point of security. Oversized Sheffield stands were employed to furnish the Cycle Shelters with diversity spaces allowing for the safe storage of a range of bicycle styles and allowing all of the local residents covered parking whilst they access the facilities at each site.
