Quayside House, Gloucester
Langley Design were pleased to work with Kier Construction on the £15 million new Quayside House Health Centre in Gloucester. The new development includes two 3 storey multi-use buildings housing GP surgeries which will serve 18,000 patients as well as a pharmacy, office space & parking.
Due to the project specific requirements rather than our extensive range of standard street furniture products, we were able to use our bespoke manufacturing capabilities to provide a range of solutions such as power-coated steel trellises with stainless steel climbing wires, tree grilles and corten steel planters with integral benching. Our concrete benches were also chosen in order to provide additional seating facilities for the health centre visitors. The use of concrete and corten steel elements are not only a long lasting solution but also add a rustic and contemporary feel to the scheme, whilst the climbing wires provided with the trellis arrangements ensure the planting will soften the look of the scheme into the future. Our steel products are available in simple galvanised finishes or with the addition of a coloured powder-coat, allowing co-ordination of our street furniture products with the overall projects scheme
