Ormiston Sandwell Academy, West Midlands

Langley Design were approached by the Ormiston Sandwell Academy to provide street furniture for the student’s outdoor courtyards. We delivered our popular Pewsham Recycled Plastic Picnic Table PPT405 across the site to increase the seating, dining and socialising areas for the students. After the success of these picnic tables, the school came back to Langley and have purchased more tables as well as additional benches over the last 2 years. We produced a full range of matching furniture products utilising the same materials to create a cohesive and reliable solution for their school.

The use of recycled plastic in the school environment is increasingly popular due to its various advantages as a material. It is strong, tough, extremely durable and will not rot or degrade with age. Because of this, there are nearly no maintenance requirements and the product will still look like new in years to come. Recycled plastic is also an eco-friendly option, taking plastics away from landfill to be repurposed into stylish, modern and substantial street furniture products.
