Langley Design were delighted to be chosen by BAM UK & Ireland to provide the Holyrood Academy project with Tensile Canopies, As main contractor Bam delivered the construction of the new two-storey building in partnership with Futures for Somerset, the Local Education Partnership appointed by Somerset County Council to deliver the new accommodation block. Designed by Grainge Architects Ltd, the building incorporated a purpose built student/dining area, six classrooms and new office space and meeting rooms. The scheme also included an extensive refurbishment of the school’s existing accommodation and the modernisation of science facilities.

Langley Design recognised the need to create versatile outdoor areas that would serve multiple functions. We aimed to foster a welcoming atmosphere for both students and staff, where outdoor spaces could be used for various activities, including learning, socializing, and relaxation, We knew our Tensile Canopy range could enhance outdoor spaces to accommodate a diverse range of activities. Provide all-weather shading and protection from the elements. Create aesthetically pleasing outdoor areas that promote student well-being and ensure durability and longevity of the installations for minimal maintenance.
