Fox Grove School is a brand new SEN facility located in Leatherhead, Surrey adjacent to the existing West Hill School. As part of the The Howard Partnership Trust, Fox Grove offers 152 places for pupils aged between 4 and 19 with autism. Main contractor Bowmer + Kirkland were selected to lead the construction which consisted of a new teaching block, providing a variety of educational spaces for Music, Art, DT & Food Technology whilst also providing Occupational Health and Soft Play Area facilities. A new four-court sports block was also provided to neighbouring Therfield School as part of the programme offering a 690m2 sports hall & gym in addition to changing room and club rooms.

Langley Design were engaged by Bowmer + Kirkland to provide the pre-cast concrete seating elements for the scheme. The Pewsham PBN405 bench is available in a range of colours from the standard Light Grey to the more exotic Red, and with a variety of finishes these durable and long lasting Street Furniture elements can be specified to suit any projects requirements. Also available with timber tops to soften the aesthetic the concrete can also be fitted with anti-skateboard measures to help prevent misuse.
