English Martyrs Catholic School & Sixth Form College, Hartlepool

Langley Design worked with BAM Construction on this multi-million new three-storey building for English Martyrs Catholic School & Sixth Form College. The building was built adjacent to the existing school to accommodate their growing institutional needs. The extension provides a capacity of 1,750 student spaces with a sports hall, dining hall, chapel gardens, playing pitches and a wide range of departments zoned around an external U-shaped atrium.

Langley Design has extensive knowledge and experience with manufacturing and installing cycle shelters which allowed a brand new design to be created specifically for this project. The galvanised steel store utilises the existing framework to incorporate cycle racks, all units come with wind and snow loadings so full quality is ensured. This unit catered for up to sixty bicycles with the roof coverage protecting the staff and pupils’ bikes from the elements. Our Galvanised cycle stores can also come Powder-Coated to complement any project’s colour scheme.
