Ebbsfleet Green Primary School, Kent
Langley Design worked with Kier Construction on the new Ebbsfleet Green Primary School in Kent. The school opened in September 2020 as a one-form entry school and will grow to a two-form entry school as the numbers of pupils in the area increases. Also including a Specialist Resource Provision the school is capable of supporting children with Autism from reception through to Year 2.
We manufactured and installed a number of our plinth mounted Sheldon Seats (SST302) to provide a seating solution for the pupils to enjoy the school outdoor spaces. Our plinth mounted seats and benches are a popular choice as they are simply resin bonded to a firm level engineered base which removes the need for foundations. The client opted for the more premium Hardwood Iroko timber on this project, offering a naturally more durable finish and an attractive colouring which matched the cladding to the main school building. Our bespoke manufacturing capabilities also enabled us to incorporate galvanised arm rests to the seats to provide that extra comfort for the pupils during their break times. Available in a variety of styles our arm rests can be added to a range of our furniture products and can be powder coated if required to add a splash of colour or match a projects colour scheme.
