Beaulieu Park School was the first All Through school in Essex and offers 420 primary school places, 56 Early Years places and a capacity of up to 900 secondary school pupils. Funded by Essex County Council, the £34 million project has been built to meet the growing demand for primary and secondary school places as a result of the new developments at Beaulieu, Channels and surrounding areas. Langley Design worked with Wynne-Williams Architects and Kier Construction to produce a range of external furniture across the site. As timber was the preferred material of choice we provided a matching range of benches, bins, cycle shelters and bin stores to the external areas. Using our bespoke manufacturing capabilities, we produced the cycle shelters to match the architects drawing and design ideas. This included both fully secured and open versions around the site, with central walkways, timber cladding to each end and mesh panelling to the sides to allow a light open feel to each shelter. We re-visited the project 3 years later and the products were still in a great condition.
