Basildon Crematorium is set in 18 acres of countryside, with views of the River Thames and Kent and offers a peaceful and rural setting for the people of South East Essex.  The grounds were carefully designed to ensure that the natural landscape is preserved and the crematorium is said to be amongst the most environmentally friendly in Europe. Langley Design were chosen by the contractor to design, manufacture and install a bespoke Oak Pergola for the visitors to reflect on the lives of loved ones. Given the sympatethic nature of the project, Langley spared no expense in creating a structure that combined the Powder Coated Galvanised Steel shoes with the stunning European Oak that compliments the cladding on the building. The product fits in beautifully with the newly landscaped areas.
